Apology / Thanksgiving at the Plaza

Apology. My computer has died. Yes, I back up my computer weekly. I am in the middle of finals without a computer and writing a final paper on my iPhone. Who has time to research  which computer to purchase and have it set-up? I hope to be up and running within a week.

Thanksgiving at the Plaza-This is such at great Kansas City Weekend

Thursday evening the lights turn on and stay until January 16, 2011

Friday 5-6pm Family Performance: Mady Kouyate FREE West African musician and storyteller Mady Kouyate will present an authentic program with call-and response singing and rhythmic playing designed  for family audiences. Reserve you FREE tickets online:nelson-atkins.org, or by phone 816-751-1278.

Friday 5-9pm Kansas City Sculpture Park- Luminary Walk join the Nelson for the sixth annual luminary walk in the Museum’s beautiful Kansas City Sculpture Park! Museum docents will be available along the walk from 5-7 p.m. to answer questions about selected sculptures.

Fireside Cocoa and Concoctions 5:30- 8:30 p.m. Museum Cafe Patio Kick off or conclude your luminary walk with hot cocoa and snack concoctions for the whole family.
